The VIN plates have been removed from the dash on both. The only place it still had a vin was that sticker all other spots it had a X-VIN plate riveted over the stamped VIN.
Dash
Door Jam
Edit: Going by those VIN numbers the AWD TT was made first.

The last time is was seen was at the auction I believe. The guy that bought it said he had a private track he was going to drive it on. The TT beretta was up for sale somewhere in Florida about 3 or so years ago.

The TT was never up for sale in FL after the auction. The buyer brought it to CT and sat on it till I acquired it two years ago. He did try to sell it on e-bay for 10k a couple years after he bought it but I think he realized how small the market was and when I contacted him stating that our group wanted to save this car and I was in a position to buy it, he was all for it.
So much more info on these cars since the auction as well, and yeah this shows how much of our posted info goes unseen...

Oh and all that speculation we made about vins and such... The TT vin that was on the door, and plate still under the carpet was still valid. I had a reproduction plate made for it.
