The 3+ is full face, so it doesn't chatter like the 6-puck stg3. And it holds more power and supposedly lasts longer.
The 3+ in my Camaro is rated for 800lbft and the streetability is still really good. You can slip it if you have to, but it held when the rear end didnt with a clutch dump on drag radials at the track.

Well, this is sad that this thread hasn't been updated in almost 5 months!
I did buy Robert's old SPEC for cheap, should be here this week. Hopefully before Feb is over I'll be tearing in to it.
I miss my clutch cars.

I was wondering when the last time you was in here...
What all do you have left or plan to do to it this year?

I've got to replace my slipping clutch, and I have a rear disc swap to do and KYB struts to install. Been working on the damn house all winter so far...

Well, yeah. I'll find out what caused the clutch slip once I get in there. I was going to do some custom AN hydraulic lines too, now that I think about it.

I'm machining them myself, and it's a pain in the dick with our ancient mill at work. I got the brackets from alpinestar on v6z24. He actually just made an account here too.

Why re-use your pressure plate? Will the one Robert sent not work?
Oh and Spec FAIL on that one... Damn I think this is like the second clutch fail thread of yours now(granted only one being your mistake)... So hows that 5-speed swap treating you
I wonder if Spec sent you the wrong pressure plate after you killed your first one, and it was a miss match with the disc they originally sent you... Either way the fact that none of those parts look the same is one reason why I would switch to someone else if you do infact have two Stage 2 clutches right there.
As far as your axle clip issue too... Probably one of the bigger problems is the fact that your using completely aftermarket axles and the c-clips on those axle are not shaped the same as factory... The ones I got on my 100% new axles that I used were a very square edged clip, so there was no way in hell they would ever collapse... The OEM ones are squeezed a little bit tighter and they also have a rounded edge to them to help them compress when being pulled. I have to fix my intermediate shaft this year because I think the groove is cut too deep in it which causes the clip to get all out of position and make it harder than it should be to get that out.
