Seriously I would have bought at lest two just to have all those parts... Never know when its going to be discontinued.
also those axle seals look just like my 4t60e diff side seal... I wonder if the measurments are the same.

The axle seals for the Muncie and Isuzu are the same, and the axles are generally interchangeable...so I would guess they probably are.
If the kit looks to be good quality I might buy another just to have on hand. I'll already have 2 spare detent covers and a spare just slightly seeping input shaft bearing/seal.

The 282 seal looks bigger than the 4t60e seal but I can verify, I have a diff housing and a tranny in the garage. I do know that they ARE different from left to right.

On the 60e yes they are different from the left to the right... according to rock auto on the 3t40 they are the same on both sides, so its just a matter of if the hole that the seal is pressed into is the same size.

Still waiting for my headers to come back from blasting and my ceramic coating & trans rebuild kit to come in the mail, so with the drivetrain on hold I hit the brakes. I finally clearanced the Neon brackets with a die grinder...it actually worked really well and the wheel bearing sits nice and flat so I shouldn't have any alignment issues. Maybe I'll get them on before the year is up with them kicking around unistalled. haha
I also hit the huge junkyard in Binghamton and picked up a mini starter from an Alero and cleaned it up and installed it. There were zero FE7 cars, 282 cars, or full-size Chevy truck 5spds...balls.

Hmmm thoses brakes look Really really familiar. Haha finally got around to doing them i see

i see you angled them somewhat different so that the bearing does not go through the brakes on both side am i right?

I just angled them for the best fit with the least amount of clearancing...trying to keep the brackets as strong as possible. And the caliper will still be on the top half of the rotor.

I just finished coating my headers... trans is done too. I guess that means I need to mount the new coolant line and then the motor is going in.

Project eh?

Does it involve 3rd gen struts and coilovers?

Yes. I have no idea how you guessed on the 3rd gen struts though that's impressive!
