Very true i've noticed if you ride the clutch alittle it's much smoother in reverse.Sometimes it will do it downshifting into third.Everything looks very nice very clean.

Robert, your new 2+ chatters? Or did you go with a stage 3 for the new one?

Yes the new one spec sent is a spec stage2+. I believe it to be clutch chatter.Because one minute it's loud then gos away.I should have my new trans in tomorrow.Unless something gos wrong. Then i'll know for sure if it's something with the trans.Or just clutch chatter.I think it's chatter because after i turn the car off you'll still hear it for a second or two.Does that make sense??

Nice dolly you've got there.
Seriously though, I really like the way everything is looking. That is definitely one of the best looking 3400s I've seen.
Can't wait to see it in Indy!

Yeah, Woody is one of those who would rather go hang out with a bunch of mullet mobiles and grandpa's in Carlisle, The only Bfest he's been to in a long time was Charlotte and that was due to it being one week early. You'll have to go to NE to see it, unless he changes his mind this year. But I doubt it.

The drivetrain is a little heavy for the creeper...kind of a pain in the ass to maneuver, but it works. I have some bar stock underneath the engine & trans to keep it from tipping over. haha
I'll be pissed if this clutch chatters...I'll know pretty soon though as the headers should be back in a day or two.
Thanks for the kind words Kurt, your style and mine are alike, but she's not headed to Indy. I might not hit any big events this year. Got a lot to do on the house, and Bfest in IN, Camaro Nationals is in VA and GM Nationals in PA are all the same weekend. This year Camaro Nationals split from Carlisle because they said it was getting too crowded. That was one of the great things about it though...500 Camaros and another ~700 other GMs all in one place at the same time with lots of vendors and lots of events (like the bikini contest & burnout contest).

I'll be at NE, no problem.
I'm in a hurry to get it running because the truck is dead and the Camaro is carbed & cold-blooded. Once it warms up it runs great, but when cold it's not real street friendly. The 4mpg around town leaves some to be desired too. haha And I need to get the Beretta out of the garage to get the truck in & yank the trans. You don't realize how handy is a truck is until you have one...and then don't have one. I can't exactly go get shingles for the house in the Camaro (or the Beretta). As it is I have to borrow a vehicle to get my wheels & tires to the shop. Those big SOB's wont fit in a car.

Yeah, those aren't 28.3" tall or 12" wide...haha
I've got a list of what it would take to build an OBD1 GM MPFI setup with a 1000cfm Edelbrock carb flange throttle body and it's only about $2000. But I just bought wheels, tires, washer & dryer, a ring and still need to buy a truck trans, new roof and a paint job for the Camaro. It's gonna be a year or two...or three.

blech, don't use OBD1. Go OBD2 on a '411 PCM.
