Exhaust is easy as crap to weld, I'll agree sheet metal takes the right touch tho.

Yeah exhaust is easy if you have perfect gaps...but cutting mandrel bent pipes at angle to make your system can be a pain filling the little gaps.

In other news: no fucking headers came in today.

Buffalo. Believe me I've thought about a road trip. When I talked to him Friday he said they were done and he would ship them USPS next day to arrive Sat. Didn't happen. But I should have them very soon. I NEED to have them very soon.

Ended up spending most of the weekend helping the old man out with his Impala. He got a buyer for it who is picking it up Friday...and all it needs is a new rear main seal, oil pan gasket, transmission, water leak fix, carpet & welded throttle bracket...haha

I did get the FE7 brackets all done...just need paint after I clean them up in the dip tank at work tmo. They are gonna be a little tight with the tie rod ends, but I think they will work fine.

Tie rod sleeves - http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Garage-Sa ... 35240.html
I may need some small 1/2"ID sleeves to get the alignment just right at the rod ends, but I won't really know that until the suspension is installed and I check the pivot clearance, etc.

Thanks... I didn't feel like digging through your thread to see if you posted anything up lol...

They were on clearance at Speedway so you need to buy them now if you want them. They're dirt cheap.

Headers did not show up yesterday either. So I took the night off rather than smashing things...
