Hey guys, i got a gtu spoiler from the local yard for 25 bucks and i want to know the best way to attach it to my base, like how and where to drill the holes.

line it up on your trunk, then smack on it kinda hard. then drill holes where the dents are and bolt it down.

Get a big piece of paper or cardboard and push it over the studs on the spoiler then lay that on the trunk as a template, make sure it's centered, tape it down, and drill the holes.
Make sure you put some paint on the inside of the holes you drill.
OR you could just beat on it as suggested.

I have about the same ?
What if you already have the  GT spoiler on?
Would you take that off and mount the GTU on (Wouldn't there be holes you would have to fix? ) or would you find a new deck lid to mount it to???

GTU has a different bolt pattern for those spoilers so you'll either need to seal off the old ones or get a new deck lid.
