Hello,
What dose the little black knob on the inside of the back of the passenger seat really supose to do. I read the owners manual and need a little more explanation ?

Thank you,
Craig~

If you mean the black knob at the LH base of the seat, it allows the passenger seat to slide forward more for entry into the back seat.  If you mean the black knob on the RH side, it's a release for the inertial lock for the seatback.  If you stop quickly the seatback will temporarily lock in place.  Sometimes if you park on a very steep hill the seatback will lock, and this knob allows you to release it.

Thanks Jeff,
I see now. If I sit in the back and pull up on the inside lever the seat will move forward.

I do have a problem with the passengers seat back falling forward when hitting the brakes a bit hard.
I`ll have to check into that.
Cheers !

Sure, no problem  I don't remember if the seats have it, or if it's only the seatbelt retractors, but there may be a metal pendulum in the intertia lock that can get clogged with hair, etc. or just blocked by seat foam.  Anyway, have fun.

They should have the lock.  Mine would work at auto-xes.
