Looking for anyone that has purchased a dash cap for there 90/earlier dash and installed it.  Does it fit well?  Do the little vents and speaker covers fit into it? Have pics of it installed? I would upgrade to the later dash, but I kinda like the old one better.  As well eventually it would crack/peel/curl the same way.

any way to make the defroster vent stay down (fit flush again)
what is the cap? aftermarket or repro?

The dash cap is a plastic mold that fits over the old dash. It seems to resemble the dash quite well. http://www.1aauto.com/1A....34 This is just one I came across....
