this is going to sound dumb but do the needles light up on the regular gauge clusters.  I had indiglo gauges so I scraped the orange part off and made them translucent.  It looked pretty cool.  I just got some reverse glow gauges and now I can't see the needles.  I am pretty sure I can get some new ones from the junk yard and be all set. I just want to make sure before I go to the junk yard.

yes they do. Why not paint them yourself? Old needles might have fadded paint.

You could put a fresh coat of whatever color you wanted on there!!

I thought it might be some type of reflective paint.  I might as well give it a shot I have tons of paint around.

No it's normal paint. It's not reflective (which has crushed gas bits).

It may of been florecent at one time, and faded. Might try that kind of paint for some real zing!
