paying a ticket online in SC?

any body in SC ever pay a ticket online. i got me a speeding ticket in north myrtle today. the cop said i could pay it online but my case number isnt in the system. is there waiting period or something?
get this......i wasnt driving the 'retta. my wifes civic......60 in a 45. the cop bumped in down to 54 in a 45 to by pass the mandatory court appearance.
