Come spring, I will. I will be parting out my Z. So if you are not in a hurry, you are welcome to have the complete set and the locking remover. Otherwise someone on here will have a set if you are in a hurry.

Thanks!!! If nothing comes up, then I'll definitely take you up on your offer. I'll pay you to ship them to me as well. Much appreciated!!!

What? Why you parting out your Z? Didn't you just fix the rust problems it had?

locking lugs are the devil, you'll either loose the tool or break the tool, either way your screwed.

I still have the original locking lugs that came with my Z... Just so you know Grand Ams and other GMs came with the exact same locking lugs. My friend had a 93 GA and his lug key was the same as the one that came with my Z

Let's see:
Firewall leaks at the seam where it meets the floorpan and other areas.
Lower front pillars are gone.
Transmission needs rebuilt.
Engine is probably shot.
Wiring harness is probably shot or something, due to the electrical problems.
Floorpan is mostly rotted to the point where its weak.
Tires are bad.
Radiator is blown.
I don't feel like stripping both sides of the firewall to fix those issues, and with the floorpan mostly junk, its not worth the headache. Sure I did some work to it and slowed down the rot, but its still rotten.
What sucks is that it LOOKS so damn nice. To look at it, you would think its awesome still. But whatever. I have way too much time invested in it already to want to spend more. I would rather find a 1990 yellow Indy that I want and spend the time on that instead. So both cars are going to be parted and scrapped, unless someone wants to buy them.

Too bad you can't cut what you need out of the black car.

Its not any better than the Z for that purpose. And that again requires a ton of work. I really don't want to invest that much time again on this body.
Besides I owe parts to you as I recall. Thanks for being patient MPB, yours are the first to go out once I can get them all off the car. lol

Are you really putting locking lugs on stock Z wheels?

What's wrong with that if he is? If I was going to put my Z as close to stock as possible, factory locking lugs on factory wheels it is lol

It's actually stock right now - even the original AM/FM cassette player is still in and plays tapes perfectly!!! {I had to find an old box filled w/ tapes so I could have some tunes... LOL and it plays them perfectly} I need the locking lug nuts to just add security for my own peace of mind. With them, the wheels/tires are safe. Without them... they're easy pickings... Pretty simple decision and I will keep the original lug nuts obviously.
Nice to see someone that gets it though!!!

I think Barry thinks that no one would want the stock Z wheels. LOL
He may be right, but still. Soon, I will have both cars dug out of the snowbank they are in. :O
