so a few weeks ago i was looking for a new toy, 4 wheeler. i didnt want to spend much, so i come accross a sweet deal on a kawasaki bayou 300. ran, drove, kid hit a tree and didnt want it, picked it up for $140. straitened the frame out with a little work, picked up a set of spider trax brand new for the rear off cl for $40. and threw in a new battery yesterday for $90. so all in all i have $270.00 tied up into it. not bad, not a perfect 4 wheeler, but for as heavy as it is, it actually huals ass. heres a pic.

sweet! ATVs are fun. Wish we had a trail system in my area.

we dont have much here in pa, rausch creek has trails for $300+ a year, and you have to have the quad registered, insured, ect. limited to speed ect.. and theres a trail system in reading but its the same story. we go to my grandparents(several acres of land), and to an abandoned open pit coal mine(several hundred acres of land to go riding.

I got a Honda 300EX, which looks to be about the same size quad. Yours looks like it's setup more for performance though, mine is a sensible, comfortable machine. I don't need anything bigger than this though, otherwise, I'll just upgrade to a side-x-side and have even more comfort.

I can't wait to fix it up for the spring and rip around on it again. I got it up at my shop, for when I'm frustrated and need to go blow off some steam....or I need to run home to grab some stuff and I've had too many "thinking" beers to legally drive my truck LOL
