Depends on where it is and how rust free it is, as well as paint condition, i could care less about engine/trans status

Why would paint matter id be thrilled to find a absolute rust free donor body for my garnet Gtz I wouldn't even care about paint hell I'd prefer it to be original instead of fixed cause you can't tell if someone did it right underneath and fixed the rust if there was any when it was repainted the original paint rust free body is the way to go man trust me I'm a bodyman I know tgese things lol I've dug into to many other half assers bodywork before in cars trucks and semis

I just wish I had about 100,000 I could even do it with 10k I guess and some land I'd open up a junkyard specializing in berettas of course but cavis and the hard to find parts for cars too, but I'd be buying body's from Cali and have them shipped over I'd strip then rotisserie them and prime them ready for paint for someone to buy as a rolling chassis or just a body

Overall no but I have noticed 96's have less rocker rot than some 94's and 95's... Might be coincidence or just how they were treated because at the same time as I say that I have my 96 with no rocker rot and I have a 96 parts car that's worse than my 95 with 94k on it, but from Mass... so Salt hell.

Is Mass known for salt? That would make sense because my 95Z was from Boston...

Yes, that and RI use it a lot, and so does CT... hence my 95's demise... No idea how my 96 survived.

all the north east states use salt and salt brine on the roads. there's no way around it if you live here.
