I replaced the tensioner and tensioner shoe, but when I pulled the spring that helps the shoe the clip that holds it I broke. So now I'm trying to find where to buy the clip. I can't find any diagrams that even show the spring. And I can't go to a junkyard to get one b/c no yards around my area have a 90 Quad.

It's no biggy now. Made my own plastic piece. I figure I would probably have to go to the dealership to get one anyway and I don't need to spend that money.

That's good, the dealership no longer has parts for cars as old as ours(I have checked). The guys at the dealer near me won't even cross check newer cars for parts that might work. last time all I was looking for were the covers that go on top of the bearing plate on the struts. I have found a few places online that have some parts, so if you need something I can tell you where to try. They don't have much and they charge alot, but they are GM parts.

Yea the dealerships are starting cross us out. I got a couple resources but I can't find anything at least for this part. I usually go to the yard to see if I can find treasures. Still looking for a door panel for my car.

I need both sides and a dash, but have little hope of finding them. Good luck, I hope you find yours.
