I was looking through the local junkyards and the only 5 speed v6 cars are z24 cavaliers. Would the shift cables from one of those cars work on mine? The z24s were mostly pre 91s. I know that from the windshield up the cars are basically the same.

If you gave me a part number or length of them I could tell you for sure. But I'd say a 89-90 would be good!

X2. So long as it is the same era Z-24, and the V-6, the only real difference should be the VSS... Any of those Z-24s have the digital instrument cluster? I'm still looking for one (or two)...
