Wanted: cheap basket case

I am looking for a cheap car that I can drive back and forth to work (5 mi round trip), as the car I have now is a BOAT, and only gets 11mpg, and at $3.78/9 per gallon here in SW Mn, a '90 Lincoln Town Car is a hog!!!
Any1 have a car (doesn't have 2 Be a 'retta) for $300 or less? Like the title says, *basket case* is all I need........
