I am not sure what the outside door trim is called other than that ...it is the black strip that is almost 2" wide and is around the window like a frame. I am also looking for the dew strips..(found that name out by reading on here) that go next to the window.

These dew strips should be replaced if they are bad. Mine are all cracked and have sharp pointy edges now. I also notice some rust beginning to form at the bottmof the door. I think this is caused by water seeping through the rotten dew strips and sitting at the bottom inside the door. Don't wait until this happens to your Beretta.

Go buy them from GMPARTSDIRECT.COM. You won't want used ones, they will be just as bad, or almost as bad.

If you check out the pinned topics in the Repair/Help section of Bstuff.com, I have both of the GM part #'s for the "dewstrips" listed as well as their cost from GMPartsDirect.com. They are still available, but are considered a special order item. The odds of finding decent ones at a junkyard are slim and none. The UV rays from the sun just eat them up over the years.
One other thing to look at if you're collecting water inside your doors at the bottom is your drain holes. Chevy put a few of them in down there and they just might be clogged with crud or something.
I don't think that the ones with the accent stripes are still available, but you can easily mask off the section that gets painted and spray 'em yourself. I hope this helps you. I wasn't real thrilled about the cost, but when you see how nice brand new ones look on your car, it makes it all worth it.

When you're at the junk yard, look for 95-96 Beretta's... supposedly those dewstrips have different material in them that prevent them from fading/cracking/failing as much as the previous years...
Mine are still perfect, not a single crack in them, and the car was an outside car for probably the first 4 years of my ownership... the last 4 it's been garaged.
