14.08@97.8 was about the best after the 13 having trouble getting a good start again.  If I have 24" Drag Radials I will easily be in the 13's continiously.

Either way I'm satisfied.  2.08 60' on the fastest 13 sec run... everything else has been 2.1's and higher.

Awesome to hear Jon. What did you do to it other than the weight reduction to cut that much off your times?

Very glad to see it Jon, I knew the engine/ trans combo had 13's in it... Very cool to see you're getting closer to your 100 shot runs. What drag strip did you go to? Epping or LV?

didnt do any weight reduction, that was full interior trim with 1/2 tank gas and just no spare tire... My best time was a 14.038 a NE fest, so getting the 13.996 was just a matter of getting the smaller diameter street tires to hook up.... which is why I didnt repeat it yesterday, I couldn't get them to do a good 60' again.

I'll try a few things today, but I didnt have wifi like I hoped at the hotel so I didnt get the slip up, I'll try to do it tonight via teathering through my phone.

Vid will have to wait till I have a broadband connection.

I'm at Epping for the weekend, They had a Chevy Fest, and they had a "run only" class both days.  The anouncer was rather impressed with the car and was calling it a "little Beretta" the first few times I was out there

Well it's about BLOODY TIME!  Congrats For Sure!

I just got home from a weekend at St Thomas. Still stuck at 14.22 (Best was a 14.24 yesterday) Won a bunch of dough, but it just seems to be stuck.

Consistent as hell, just that is all it has.

And that's it for the season.

I came up a bit short this year, and who knows at this point what, if anything, next summer holds for this stupid little car.

Anyway. Good stuff Lil'Jon!!

Yeah I know the weight was pretty heavy... I'm not sure what else I could do to make it lighter other than ripping out the interior... Next day I was only as light as 3064 all day, slightly less gas... and when I left I went back over the scales, I was up to 3360 with me and amy in the car and all my tools...

But here ya go, Best slip from Sat and best slip from sunday, car 302 sat and 453 sunday.

If I could just nail it off the line and NOT spin I could get 2.05 60 foots and always be in the 13's... all of my other slips are 2.11's or worse.

Few vids

In Car Vid

Two of my slower runs...  Trying to trim down my 14.006 to upload, and get the 13 up soon.

This was my one and only run using the ported 3100 style upper intake, I removed it just after this and ran my 14.006@98.28, that points to the ported 3500 being better but not by a whole bunch...  If I had less issues with traction I would have a more conclusive answer on that.
