Is $100 per door worth it just to get the dew strips for my 94 beretta z26? Doors are in good and so is the dew strips. Its just base model without the Z26 badges.

I was thinkin it be worth it cause its 2d coupe car and not 4 door sedan door. All trim is good shape also. Bought the hood latch and hood cable of it yesterday at the junkyard. They also have a Z26 but dew strip on on drivers side wasnt in good shape though. They want $100 for complete doors.

If the doors have the same features as your car and is of matching components (year/style seat belts etc etc) that is a bargain. If they are rust free too, I ask you, why havent you bought them yet? lol

If you are about to get kicked out on your ear because you haven't paid rent in three months, no, it isn't worth it. If you have more money than Bill Gates' personal valet, and this is the last part you need to completely restore your car to like-new condition, sure, it would be worth it. Anywhere in between, it is a personal judgement call. Pics? What condition are these in? Are the doors the same color as your car, or will you have to pay $400 to match them up if you ever need to use them? Is it worth it? Sorry, dunno. If you just need dew-strips, why wouldn't you just buy the dew-strips? Don't get me wrong, I love having extra parts sitting around for my cars in case bad things happen to them... I have a pair of complete GTZ doors, I thought they would be worth it to me because my '95 Z-26 had some moderate damage to the passenger-side door, and the GTZ doors had the same ground-effects, and non-power windows (which I actually prefer to power windows), and the yard only charged me $25, or $35 each, complete including door panels and mirrors. Unfortunately, the GTZ donor was a '91 or '92, and didn't have the door-mounted seat-belts like my '95 Z, so they weren't as helpful as I had hoped. But the guy at the junk-yard said he would take them back, and when I insisted that I would keep them because I had already bought them, he said he would make sure I didn't pay for parts I didn't need anyway and gave me a Fiero GT spoiler for free. :pardon: But were they worth it? I still haven't gotten any use out of having those doors sitting around, and all five of my Berettas have the door-mounted seat belts, so I will probably never use them. I may have a chance to sell them to someone and help save another Beretta though, so that could make it worth it.

Yes, they are. And there are no reproductions available either.

They wont sell the dew strips if the door is still fully assembled with no missing parts.

That is too bad. You could try moving the door panels to a near-by car or something, then say 'hey look, the doors have been taken apart. I'll buy these window fuzzies for five bucks, too bad the doors aren't complete, I could have used the complete assemblies!' Or is it not a self-service yard?
