OK, So what's it worth?

I'm 63 and thinking it's time for a Motor Home or something, but NOT a Beretta.
Thing is, I own a Beretta.

So what is the damn thing worth?

Here ya go!

1991 GTZ, Quad 4 5-speed.

72,655 miles. Original California NO RUST car!

I bought the car in 2006 from the second owner, after he bought it from the first owner. Both were previous members on here and responsible guys who weren't into beating on the car. Drove it home to Canada from Long Beach, California.

The head gasket was replaced under warranty at 3400 miles by GM.

At that time the owner had "Dr. Oldsmobile" 2* cam gears installed, along with an upgraded head gasket.

It has always had synthetic oil.

Car Fax is clear. Never hit or any claims.

Had the infamous paint failure and was totally stripped and re-painted in 2010.

Completely stripped. I mean all glass removed, stripped to bare metal, re-sealed and re-painted. ($7,000)

It is now House of Color "Absolute White" with a Platinum Blue Pearl "hint".

Legal lifetime warranty tint.

Eibach Springs, KYB Shocks/struts.

Euro mirrors and tail lights. (I have the stock stuff)

OEM AM/FM/CD that works perfectly.

Brand new (500 miles) Yokohama S-Drive 225-50-16 tires. Wheel alignment and it was all tight.

Interior is 95% and I have ALMOST NEW front seats, still wrapped.

W-41 IDI cover, and the stock Quad cover both MINT!

Air bag deleted, Lumina leather steering wheel.

Everything works, AC blows cold.

The car needs absolutely NOTHING! 101% absolutely rust free!! Never seem snow. Seldom sees rain if I can help it.

California Clear Title.

I would not hesitate to jump in this car and drive it ANYWHERE. It needs nothing.

In fact I will be driving it to B'Fest next June if I don't sell it.

I'm not delusional in any way, so it's NOT $10,000 but what is the damn thing worth?

May be time to move on.

Probably $3500-$4500 if its as nice as it sounds?

IDK what they generally go for in Canada though.

I'm not sure either. Unfortunately these cars aren't worth nearly what it would seem. I'd guess around $5k. (Just thinking what I would pay for a premiere example of a Beretta if I wanted one.) And that's probably about it. Problem is we all have $15k in them...haha

In my case, once my Camaro is done I'm not sure how much I'll even use the Beretta. But it will still be worth way more to me than anyone else, for sure.

Is the car still California titled? If so, is it in your name? I just ask because it may or may not need to be "imported." If it has a California title already, it just makes the process that much easier for someone in the US, assuming it's in your name. If it has a Canadian registration/title, then it will have to be imported. Not a huge deal - Having imported our 93 GTZ from Canada, I can answer any questions on importing it into the US if someone from the states buys it.

As far as value, I'd guess it's in the 4000-5000 range. Its sentimental value is likely much higher, but it's a cold, harsh reality.

I'd really love to have it - I've got the space to keep her in a climate controlled garage but just don't have the funds to buy it right now...

It is still California Titled. Clean and clear. (Long story. My Step-Daughter lives in Santa Monica.)

$5000 is what I was thinking, but I am a realist!

It's about as nice as they come, at this stage, and it needs nothing.

I can upload some pics from my camera if I study hard enough, LOL!! (No kidding!)

Jon, Rodney, Marc and Jamie have all seen the car.

It is EXACTLY as I have described.

There is NO RUST and it runs perfectly. Still has the original clutch and this car has never been beat upon.

I DID run it once at the track. Ran 15.11 at 91 mph, so those 2* cam gears did have an effect I suppose.

Pulls very hard from 6000 up, but I will confess it hasn't been anywhere near that for a LONG TIME!

I usually shift about 3500.

Might just keep it in the underground I suppose. It's safe and secure.

Unless an enthusiast really wants it.

Then I would be happy to let it go.

Thanx Guys!!

I'd have to agree with GTU89 on price.

Should ya still have this when facilities are expanded, you might have my or my friends interest.
