Hey everyone I'm not on here much since my brother now has my Beretta, but I still come to read stuff. I just wanted to let everyone know about a product I found that actually works for fixing rear defrost grids/tabs.

I had a tab come off which I soldered back on and thought was fixed until a wire melted the fuse panel. I replaced the whole panel and wire. Then I de soldered the old tab and tossed it. I ordered a new tab, highly conductive 2 part silver epoxy, and a new connector from www.frostfighter.com

After bonding the new tab on it's on there rock solid, and cutting the old connector off and crimping on the new one, it looks close to factory and the defrost now works without heating up the wire too.

Thought id post this to maybe save someone from having to get a new windshield if theirs fell off any of their cars or the grid gets damaged.

Rear defrost is one of those things. You don't think about it unless it stops working!

Thanks for the info. I don't know if the rear defrost is working on any of my Berettas right now... Worth checking into, thanks again.

??? I guess I have a different idea on what a 'big' window is -I have three third-gen Camaros in the family, and THAT is a big piece of glass on each of those! The defrosters on my Camaros actually work fine, oddly enough...
