How did this happen? *** am I thinking?

1994 G² Z26.  Little over 100k on it, blown 3100 in it, got it for ~$550.

I towed it home tonight with the minivan, god that was the most nerve racking thing Ive ever towed.

More daylight pics tomorrow. Needs some work but Im not going to complain for the price I paid.

Soon to be Cam'd, built, 3400 w/ headers 5 speed and some other goodies. Give me a few weeks and I'll let ya see some pics. More daylight pics tomorrow.

Looks pretty good from those shots.   Guess some daylight pics will let us see how nice the body is, but it really doesn't look bad at all in those, esp for the price.

Should be sweet with a worked 3400/5spd like you're gonna do.

Nerve racking is towing a 1976 GMC 3/4 ton 4x4 with a Suzuki Samurai.

Other than the fact that I hate the interior, it looks like a good project. Congrats on picking it up.

Garnet on Garnet is why it looks good to me, Garnet on a black or white car is teh suck. Interior is staying, no paint, dye, any mods!

Well some stuff, but that stuff can wait.

Motor has to get done first.

Glad to see you got it home okay.  Looks like I'm staying on the board too, we are now picking up a teal 92 GT for the wife, 30K on the odo. LOL

G^2 + Coffee moche latte for teh win!

I tore the 3400 down yesterday and discovered a crapload of dexcool & oil mixed together. Yeah F risking it, Im rebuilding the bottom end. Oh and to remove the Camshaft from 3400, you need to pull the oil pump out first. ;)

Ordered the following this morning.

MANIFOLD GASKET FELPRO
CRANKSHAFT SEAL TIMKEN
REAR MAIN SEALS FELPRO
CAMSHAFT BEARING CLEVITE
TIMING SET DYNAGEAR
HEAD BOLT SET FELPRO
MAIN BEARING - ENGINE CLEVITE

Oil pan gasket, Oil pump and Rod bearings are carried in the store.

Yeah all this ordered from Autozone, they have the cheapest prices. I looked around. Summit racing was more expensive on every part, and AZ has free shipping. Advanced Auto has the same parts but more expensive as well.

Crane needs to email me back about my pushrods.

Heads are cleaned and getting sent out today.
