hey all my name is mike. i have posted a few times on here and never really introduced myself. i figured since i am on here everyday i should. i live in ohio. just moved back from clearwater beach florida. i just got my liscense back after having them gone for about 5 years. i dont have a beretta, i looked and looked and looked for one i wanted. i had a 88 gtu i was going to buy and the guy never called back. there was a teal indy on ebay a few of you might of saw, with the rear break line out. i had the guy at 600 and he was going to take it off. i had a driver to pick it up just waiting for my call. guess what he never called back either. oh well, one day out of being down i just went and bought a eagle talon. i needed something. i restore mopar muscle cars and i have a shop where me and a budy do all sorts of body work. so after my 67 plymouth gtx is done i am going to completly redo a beretta to how i want it.
you guys say that the quad z26 5 speed is rare. that is probably what i am going to do. i know there is a couple that needs a good home right now but no space for it. i here of switching motors and stuff, i am a firm believer of keeping cars that might be worth something all together with original motors. if these cars are worth something down the road having original engines in them will only incress the value. the quads seem to just be being ripped out and replaced with something else. say if there are 800 made. after some being crushed, parted out or wrecked.then engine swaps and add another 20 years down the road how many do you think will still have that original quad?!? just blabing sorry. any ways i love these cars and look foward to keep being a part of this site.
