I am new to the boards since I just have an interest in these cars, specifically the 3.1 turbos since I recently found one in the junk yard and never knew of them.  I was trying to learn more about the rareities of them so I started reading here, nice site.  

I myself have a 1998 Z24 5 Speed Vert with a built, boosted and sprayed 2.4.



I am currently stripping the turbo 3.1 of everything that makes it cool and selling it on ebay, here is a link...

There were never any factory 3.1 Turbo's in Berettas.  Perhaps you saw a McLaren Grand Prix?  (which looks similar to a Beretta)
