Car Show Reminder

Folks, just wanted to pass along a little reminder for the Bfest Car Show at Bfest!! It is that time of year to start getting (as Gor would always say) "giddy" about Bfest and all of the events going on and that every important chance to talk about cars all weekend... Official BerettaFest Car Show
We are very excited to announce the organization of the Official Bfest Car Show for 2006 in Pittsburgh!! The Car Show will run in conjunction with the picnic so that people can have something to do while they munch on all the great food we cook up every year. We have been looking for a way to spice up the ole picnic, so here it is!
Time
-Entrants can start arriving at the shelter at 10:30 am
-Car show starts at 11am and runs till 2:30 pm
-Late arrivals can show up until 12:30 and still be judged
-Food served at Noon
-Awards ceremony to follow Show at 3pm
-IMMEDIATELY following the ceremony we will organize the group picture
Judging:
-The best part of the Car Show is that it will be judged by all of us!!
-Each car will have a number assigned to it for the show, which will be included in the packets handed out Thursday
-Each person will be able to vote for one car in each class, highest vote wins!
Classes:
-Best of Berettafest
-Best Stock Exterior
-Best Stock Interior 88-90
-Best Stock Interior 91-96
-Best Custom Exterior
-Best Custom Interior 88-90
-Best Custom Interior 91-96
-The only catch will be regarding the Best of Berettafest award...he winner of this will not be able to win the other awards. This will give others the opportunity to get a trophy
However, a car could potentially win Best Exterior and Interior in its category (stock or custom).
1/4 mile Awards: We will be giving out trophies for the best ET Beretta's in each of these classes from the Friday drags. (So remember to keep your time slips)
-Fastest Stock V6
-Fastest Stock Quad 4
-Fastest Stock 2.0/2.2
-Fastest Modified V6
-Fastest Modified Quad 4
-Fastest Modified 2.0/2.2
-Stock and Mod classes are defined as this: stock is whatever came on the car from the factory. So this means if you have a 3400, but it is a stock engine, you would still be in the Mod V6 class.
-All time slips along with class info MUST be turned in by 2:30 pm on Saturday to be eligible
Fun Awards: These awards will be handed out simply for FUN and a good laugh
-Endless Ride Award - given to the person who had the longest drive to Bfest!
-Million Mile Award - given to the owner of the car with the highest miles in attendance
-Gopher Award - given to the most helpful volunteer of Bfest
-Watermelon Award - given to the person deemed the craziest and most spontaneous of Bfest
-Bfest or Bust Award - given to the person with the beater of the fest, but hey they got there!!
-Tin Foil Award - given to our picnic chef
