I recieved the hotel information rather late.  I am not going to be staying at the hotel.  I have talked to a few others in the same situation..or similar.

If anyone who has not registered for bfest and wants to go or needs a deal on a hotel contact me.

The hotel now wants $169 plus tax a room a night...which won't work for us since I will be with a group staying from Wednesday to Sunday.

I think Brad will also be posting more on this as we were working on this tonight.

Jeez man!  I know its been a few years since i've been but whats up with the expensive hotel this summer?

My apologies to Erich and anyone who may have gotten the info late.  I sent some out the day of the deadline, but I'm not sure if they were sent instantly or not.  The hotel is rather pricey if you were not to get the group price of $79/ night, which is plenty reasonable for the quality of hotel we will be staying in.  

On the topic of people who may be coming that have not officially registered.  In light of the situation and the fact that the more the merrier...  We will allow late registrations on a case by case basis.  If you would like to attend but haven't registered, please email me ASAP.  Please understand that if you do not talk to myself or another committee member we can't provide you with the registration packet, and food at the picnic.  I'm not trying to shoo people away by any means, but the registration $ is what pays for our food on saturday and the pavilion so if we have people who show up that didn't pay it will take away from the people who did...  OK, enough for my soapbox speach     Just get ahold of one of us so we know what is going on and can keep things in order, thanks!!

I was annoyed with Marriot's and the lady i spoke too's attitude.  I called up to get 4 rooms and to work out a better price over the suggested retail she was feeding me.   Not to mention  I am a Marriot stock holder.

I never did get any information about where the hotel is from Jason (MAJ). Although I know what hotel is just from looking at his photos from the other thread, I'd still like some official information.

If anyone has any information about getting hotel at discounted rate.  I called Monday.   Someone callled the 10th and got the discounted rate.  He was also told that the hotel was $99 originally.    

It sucks because, i registered late because i didn't know who was going to be in my car, including Stephanie because of our relationship status and work status.

As of now we are staying in a hotel next to official hotel.
