Wet motor

i was driveing 2 day and hit water and water got on the motor and now it is missing and dose not have any power is this normanl when the motor gets wet and it makes a wierd noise

could it be the spark plugs being wet? my friend did that once, but it killed the car about 5 minutes later, his dad came and told him he was a moron!

You can prevent your spark plugs from being wet by putting some of that Electrolytic grease(I think that's the name) on them.  You could have some water in the intake..  Just let it sit for a while and it should dry and be fine..

I would also check your air filter, make sure it didn't get soaked.

i went through a huge water puddle (showing off for the kids ) and my coil pack got water in it. that is what my mechanic told me anyway. had to replace from junkyard. told me not to do that again :0

check your plug wires they are most likely the culprit. The car designed to be wet so watre should not affect it. change your plug wires.:)
