Would a 3.1 enigne work in a car with the 2.8 computer? As far as i know the only difference in the two is the bore&stroke and the intake plenum, some body correct me if i'm wrong

That is my set up right now 2.8 computer and 3.1 bored out and rebuilt and it works just fine .One thing I will mentions is I am still running the 2.8 heads and all the same sensors.

Im running a 93 3.1L engine with my 2.8L wiring and computer and it works great.

Ok so if i get the 3.1, i can use all the same wiring and not have to change anything?

yes. all that changed was the stroke. Bore is the same.
