Yup, I want one. Let me know what you got on the cheap. It will be hacked apart, so non-working is fine.

Anyone have one laying around from an OBDII swap?

Just do like I did and use the '7727 and splice it in, or use the EFIconnection pins and swap the thing out...

7727 won't control my trans. And it's still my DD so I don't have time to swap to 5spd yet...
EFI connection doesn't have the right stuff for what I need... Need this to make a plug and play swap...

You can also order a new delphi header instead of reusing one from a ECM.

The header is the exact piece that's in the ECM. has the pins, intended to be soldered to a circuit board.

The connectors are the ones that need the pins, TPA and CPA separately.

Yeah that's correct. I'm just seeing if I can save a few bucks.... $34 before shipping at digi key for the parts.

Next big issue is deciding if I want to get an emulator or just a burner... Emulator would be great for getting the tune down. Once it's down and just changes are needed, I'd rather have a burner... argh..

BTW does anyone have Ryan Hess' email?

OK, you know what I meant

'9396 has the same connectors as the '7727...

Now if I could find an OBD1 that could control the 94-95 4t60e's, I would be golden. Wish I had more time to hack or find a hack for the '9396 and see if I could get the proper signals, but seems as though I already have a lot on my plate (specially since working on cars is my 3rd job hehe).

Hehe. I actually can use a non-weather proof ECM as mine is inside, but oh well. The OBD1.5 ECM is actually weather proof but it's mounted inside on my car.

9396 will do 4T60-E... You mean 4L60-E?? Only thing missing would be the line pressure controller since the T's were vacuum modulated still. Probably getting creative with a MAP and one of those PIC or whatever IC's where you could program it to PWM the solenoid as the vacuum decreases would work...

Don't want to get you too far off topic, but a MAP might be able to be manipulated into sending a signal, hmm.

Yeah, use another MAP and 5v reference going to it, then build some circuit to translate that voltage into how much it should pulse the line pressure solenoid... Stand alone controller... I'm guessing the line pressure is controlled via PWM?
