I may be in Columbus in the next couple of weeks, and before I blow my brains out on a waste of time,
AND THIS IS NOT A PROPSAL OR VOTE, can I get some sort of feedback on the idea.
Thanx.

Actually I have heard noises that a Chicago Proposal is, in fact, in the works, and if that is the case, Columbus would only serve to split the vote and we'd end up Lord knows where, LOL!.
Maybe I'll hold off 'til next year.

Ohio sounds good for me. Driving across the country is rough, I will need to bring a welder and a ton of spare parts.

For those who actually remember 2005
Columbus was the site of Bfest 2005. Not a bad location, but all I really remember was spending 12 hours on my birthday in the parking lot in 95+ degrees F fixing the timing on my autox GTZ!
I'd actually be 1000% for that Indianapolis proposal from last year or the year before... I missed 1999 by 3 months (didn't join group until september of that year).
I'd be a big fan of seeing at least one proposal!?!

well to me i would be happy with either but i think some of the east coast people would prefer a little closer like cbus. but we shall see you never know until the voting happens.

I'm as far East as they come... and to be quite honest I would drive to Indianapolis if it was a decent proposal, it is only 3hr's difference in travel time and to be quite honest that's not much if your already driving 10hrs.
And never mind voting, I'm just waiting to see A proposal

Sidepipe has gotta go! That drone in my ear 5 hours to NE fest killed my eardrum.
I would like to see some more westerners come. Hopefully turnout is strong, I need more competition!

You need to beat the existing competition first! LOL!!!
However whether it's Chicago (or Columbus/Indy whatever) the turnout will likely surpass both Niagara and Charlotte.

Indy I'd love to see, that's a huge center for quite a few major NHRA organizations. I would definitely be there.
