So, this isn't super important or anything, so i thought i'd post it here. Im curious how to basically set up rear defrost on my car. Factory did not put it in, but put in cruise control. And the red beretta, no cruise, but defrost. Lol. But, since the window was blown out with hail a few years ago, they put in a rear defrost window, and I was curious how to go abouts setting it up. Getting the switch for it is a sinch, but what do I need besides that, relays, wiring, etc? and would there be places to put them, (dispite not having it from factory, do they have spots to put the stuff anyways). Just curious. Thank you!

If it's the 88 your talking about if you pull your windsheild whiper switch out there should be a disconnected harness in there that runs to the fuse box where its a dead slot in there. If you look it up in the haynes manuel it will tell you what number it is. As for further back I am wondering the same question, I want to know if it's possibly wired back into the trunk light and all you have to do is get connects for it. Maybe I'll get back there today and look a bit more and I'll let you know.

Alright from what I can tell its wired in your dash to your fuse pannel on block 12 with your power windows

Under your rear seat is where the wires go into your rear for your tail lights ect. someone correct me if im wrong but i think all power is ran on the drivers side and all the speaker wires run in from the passenger.

So your best bet is the drivers side... From what I can tell there seems to be extra wires for it BUT my guess is that if you look in your other one the window came out of i think theres probably an electrical connecter for where your third break light is wired that is what powers the defrost also SO someone else that has had more into this and the body work of them to let you know sorry /i couldnt find out more

No power windows though... But, i'll play around with this, and see if i can get them working. I love to use it in winter, and it sucks not being able to see clearly. Only other question I got is, why is there 2 um... connector thingys on my window for the defrost? LOL. Do I have to connect both of them to the fuse box i wonder...
