Daytona rear Brackets

Post by Alpinestar10 »

I have Two sets of Daytona rear caliper brackets for sale, One is machined and one is not. They are both the NON vented setup so if you want you could use the regular neon calipers with these brackets, Ill let the unmachined setup go for 60 shipped obo and the machined setup go for 100 shipped obo.

Ive sold neon brackets to woody90gtz lol i think thats how you spell his name, I just want to get rid of my surplus of parts

Dont worry eric these are not the ones you machined for me lol

If they are from the Daytona they should be vented... if they are the Neon's then they are the non vented... Unless there were two versions used on the Daytona, but I didn't think there were.

I don't think the regular basic Daytona had those vented brakes in the back. We list both solid and vented options at AutoZone.

There were in fact two brackets one had a 15 stamped in the whic meant that the lowest tire it can clear is a 15 and the others have a 14 stamped in them ill Take pics of my 15" bracket side by side with both sets for 14" brackets so you can see what i mean

John the Daytonas with the 16's stock had the vented rear rotors, but the ones with the 15's stock had solid rotors. I know, theres one of each in the yard right now ( i have the brackets from the 16" wheel car :D

If they are the non vented and can use the neon calipers then are they the same bracket as found on the neon? I thought the only reason why the bracket changed was to support the thicker vented rotor.

Yup the calipers are the same even all the internal hardware just buy them for the neon since its cheaper even though its the same part. i did get pics but i found out today i only had the center bored out so it will go back to the shop to get the holes drilled when it gets bought ill include some pics of the brackets eric"woody" did for me that are the vented ones to illustrate what i mean The vented rotor brackets are not for sale
