Long story short, I still need a set of shifter cables for a '95 2.2L 5spd Beretta. If you have them, shoot me a price, and let me know their condition-

Yep, I know all too well how hard they are to come by. LAST time i put out a want ad for these cables, I got a slew of people here who had them and here's the deal with that. I committed to buy a set from a member, sent the money to the member, Supposedly were sent through USPS, never got them. Never got a tracking number for it(which is pretty important, and a given if doing business). So here I am at square one again. Now I'm not here to rant or point fingers, Only to get my car moving again. So anyone? even if you see some at a junkyard when you go (I'm looking at you, high mileage beretta owners, Especially w/ quad 4's; God knows those aren't the most reliable engines(hell, i'd pay for labor). I got all bases covered here and trust me, I regularly check the junkyards in my area.

much appreciated, just a heads up, I also thought that I could use a Cavaliers' cables but when i saw a Cav 5spd at a junkyard, I noticed that the cables have a different mounting setup than a beretta. You'd think GM would standardize ONE setup across the board-

So I finally managed to find the cables online after days of nonstop searching @
http://www.oehq.com/

The part codes for the 1993-95 beretta 2.2L w/MR3 isuzu 5spd transmission
are selector cable: 22576977
and shift cable: 22576975 courtesy of GMPARTS Giant

Cables are insanely expensive with my order coming out to $152.77 for both. Well now I play the waiting game......

Let us know when you get them. I don't like not knowing what they look like. If you have a digital camera you should take some pictures of the ends. I have never heard of those websites, but Ill look around on them and try to cross some numbers.

So I'm going to bump this because it's getting warmer now, so junkyard season is in session. I got the shift lever cable from the online store (tons of those still in stock) BUT now need the selector level cable (Not stocked by anybody, not surprising). So anybody comes across it, let me know and there's money to be made if you catch my drift. The Gm Parts Website list the compatible cables for my car is the years '93-'95. I'm no cable expert here, so I figure maybe they have different mounting setups for the other years? If it tells me '93-'95, then I'm going to do what it tells me.
Thanks people :good:
