Oh man you are going to have all of them! Hell if I had the money we would be fighting over them. The dream: a big barn full of them, all running. Never happen though.

I would love to buy a gtz. The problem for me is the money. If I had the money I would get it myself. I want to drive a quad four motor and a standard trans. One of these days i'll get one.

I am also thinking of getting it but my concern is if it will pass california smog. Are the quad motors from a gtz allowed in california? Never seen one not even in the junk yards.

Yeah, they're good in Cali. They shouldn't be too bad with smog. A buddy of mine, or actually, his girlfriend, has a Quad 4 GTZ. California registered and good to go.

The quad is an amazingly 'clean' engine, for beeing quite simple and so powerful. At the same time when it came out, Mercedes made a 2.3l ~180hp 4cyl as well. They had to put a lot of effort in a very expensive and complicated exhaust system to achieve the legal noise and smog levels. And they drink a couple liters of oil /1000km and that is even considered normal.
People, Quads arent that bad

I also enjoy being faster and lighter than a 60 degree V6 without even trying!

That, and they're all 5 speeds, so no need for a trans swap!
