So i was just reading on yahoo and weather.com that the weekend of the fest, its supposed to rain that whole time practically. Does this put a hitch in anything we are trying to accomplish for the fest? Im sure the show n' shine will be affected for sure.

Bringing a shade tent for myself anyway, so at least at the picnic I will be under some cover if it rains.

Welcome to the midwest

It's not a rain nonstop kind of weather, it's pop up storms kind of weather. Been doing that here off and on all week. And 9 times out of 10 the weather man is wrong.

The midwest is also known for weather changing abruptly! Things may change by next week.

Well if it's going to rain I'm not coming and getting my car all wet and dirty.
Plus it will make Barbie's hair go all curly and knarly. And then she'll be a handful.
And it will make me melt. And I'll get all stressed out and drunk. And we'll all have to stay inside and play naked twister.
And my beer will get watered down and the icing on my cupcake will be ruined.


It's Indy for heaven's sake. It rains every damn day in the summer.

AND IF YOU HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE IN PLANNING OUTDOOR EVENTS, WHEN YOU START WORRYING ABOUT THE WEATHER, IT'LL GIVE YOU AN ULSER.

LMAO @ Eric! Yeah, a lil rain never hurt anyone. Thats usually when people decide that spinning your tires on the street is more fun, depending on the person lol

Funny, because I saw yesterday it was supposed to not rain until maybe sunday - scattered at that.

I say who cares... most of our group events are indoors, except racing and the picnic. Last I checked we reserved a shelter...

If it rains I'm sure I'll still be drinking Molson with Asylum!

96 and humid on Thursday, snow Friday night. Hail and thunderstorms Saturday all day. Lol
