Hello, long time lurker...first time poster
I have a 95' Base Beretta, it has a 4-cylinder,automatic tranny, 130,000 miles. It has  recent tune up including plugs, wires, coil packs, air filter, etc..your basic tune-up. My problem    is the car is stuttering, and it only does it at 35 and 55 mph. Not at 25 or 30, or 45 or 50 or 60 Not under acceleration. As soon as I hit 35 and hold the speed constant, it starts. As well as on the highway, as soon as I hit 55, it starts..if I give it gas and get up to 60 or 65 it stops. I'm thinkin maybe somethin to do with the tranny is the culprit, I have no idea really. Other than that, the car runs excellent. Really well actually. Any ideas?? Thanks in advance for any suggestions any help will be appreciated.

Do you feel it or do you hear it?  When it happens does the engine seem to run faster but the car doesn't speed up?  As you press the accelerator down further, does it seem to accelerate smoothly or are there small surges?

I can feel it. It gets quite bad sometimes.  No the engine doesn't speed up..it's more like a miss like. When the accelerator is pressed it accelerates smoothly, theres no problem with acceleration. It only happens if the accelerator is held to maintain a constant speed, since I don't have cruise. And like i said, only at 35 and 55   Almost as if it does it when it shifts into overdrive

Look for bad motor mounts first before spending a lot of money on electrical stuff.
