WANTED: GTZ or Z26

Hi,
I am looking for a GTZ or Z26. I prefer a manual transmission, but an automatic will do if the car is nice enough.
If you've got something that you're considering selling, please e-mail me at
TheyCallMe_SS@yahoo.com
I live near Columbus, OH. I would like to find something close to home, but I am willing to travel for the perfect car. Also, I have a 1992 Ford Crown Victoria if anyone is looking for a trade.
Thank you.

Manual transmissions only came with the quads on the Z26. I can't recall what years of GTZ had the 3.1MPFI and a manual.
I have been considering selling my 94 Z26 for some time. Its the 3100 with the auto though.
Downsides are that it has high miles. Just about to roll over to 230k. Was with it at Beretta fest the last two years, has some exterior mods (lighting) and overall decent. Original driveline though, so its probably ready for a bit of work soon.
Some rust, but that can't be helped, its 17 years old. There are probably nicer ones out there. I'm looking to get around 2k for it... But negotiable. It is in good shape, considering.
Small list of recent stuff:
Goodyear Eagles RS-A's, in good shape. Original wheels complete with all caps and original locks.
Original exhaust minus a muffler replacement.
Original interior seats, dash, console, etc. Replaced the carpet last year when I worked on the floor pan. T style shifter.
Aftermarket sunroof. No leaks. Some spare parts, including a glass.
Original glass all the way around.
Full LED custom exterior lighting, except fogs and headlights. Fogs work perfect.
Recent paint work on the exterior, was repainted around Christmas in 08.
Single owner, never smoked in. Or slept in, or even had sex in it. LOL
Custom stereo, 200W in dash Sony (bluetooth,mp3,ipod,etc) and 200W 12" DV sub in the trunk.
All the original internal hardware for the trunk, even the cargo net. The foam brick that holds the jack, the spare, etc.
More can be found in my rebuilt thread if you are curious.
Anyways, let me know.

DTMAce,
Thank you for replying so quickly, but I think I'm looking for something with lower miles.

High miles or not, you won't find a nicer Beretta for sale than this car. If I was into the whole V6 thing I'd buy it.
Shrugging off a car because of number of miles is pretty silly.

You are NOT going to find many folks that agree with this statement. Some may let it slide more IF the driveline is redone.
That kind of miles I typcially walk away from, even if the car is clean. that is just a lot of miles ona FWD car.

It's not a 2011 Civic that will be dead and tin cans before my 2 year old hits college.
Maybe its because I've seen his car, but if a car is clean and the price is resonable, ANYTHING can be fixed or replaced.
GL finding a low mileage beretta with Zero issues. And I would wager large sums you'll have more issues with a 96 with 120k than you would with a car like Chris has. Not specifically his car, but the high mileage one owner type cars that were obviously well taken care of.
You might be right that you won't find many people who agree, but you won't find many people who know what the hell they are talking about either.
My opinion stands that immediately shrugging off a car because of the numbers on the odo roll are high is silly.

Its no sweat here. I sell it, cool. If not, will keep using it till its sold or I get to a point where its no longer usable. No worries man.

I'm not trying to sell your car for you, lol. Just pointing out how arbitrary mileage is in the real scheme of things.
I've seen 50k dollar cars be completely JUNK after 40k.

Oh I know. Just have to remember, mine is nothing overly special.
I really don't think I'm wanting too much for it either. Hell I know I put probably 3 times that into it lately, but then again, most of us do...
I just figure that one of these days I might sell it, so I can start working toward what I really want to do later on. (I can start acquiring the stuff I need)
lol
