ok so i have this clunking noise thats coming from the front passenger side of my beretta. i thought it was the chassis part that has the bushing that connect to the arm (cant think of the name right now). that didnt work so i thought it was my brake pads because last time i replaced them the spring that holds the inner side broke when i put it on. so i thought it was just hitting the rotor er sumthin. so replaced those (really needed it to). but the clunking noise prevails. it only happens when im in reverse though and either taking a sharp left or right turn in reverse or goin down a hill. any ideas to a solution would be greatly appreciated. also its a manual if thats helps any. thanks in advance.

Check your motor mounts on that side! Get another person to help so you can rock the engine and see what's happening at the same time.

Please post such inquiries in the Repair section of the board.
And do you mean that you checked the tie rods? Cause that's where I would go...

"only in reverse" sounds alot like a bad transmission mount to me.
