yep, so my fog lights wont work. i changed the bulbs to see if they were burnt out, nothing. checked fuses, everything is good there. and all the wiring looks good. no loose connections. also, when i flip the switch to turn on the fog lights, the high beam light comes on. any ideas? its a 96 z26. Thanks!

Pull the switch and check IT'S wiring and circuit. Sounds like a faulty switch to me. Wait, you're also the guy who just switched out his fogs right? I would check and make sure you didn't accidentally cross up some wires.

There is a relay and a fuse for the foglights built into the dash harness. You might need to check that.

Well the fog lights didnt work before i did the swap for the new foglights. i figured it was just dead bulbs, but they still wont work with the new ones. i also checked the relay and all fuses. everything is good. i just double checked wiring and everything is secure and connected correctly. man this kinda sucks.  haha at least its just the fog lights.

does the light on the fog light switch come on?

indeed it does. i talked to someone down at advanced auto parts and the guy took alook around and couldnt find anything that would cause this problem. so looks like i got brand new fog lights for show! haha weird.

my 95 Z had the same problem i changed fog lights and still nothing so i changed the relay under the dash now they work havent had poblem since and my fog light switch was on also

Hmm...sounds like you might have a bad relay bud.

I vote bad relay also.
