i need help. awhile ago i lost spark to two cylinders and it was my ignition control module so i replaced it and it runs but now if I leave it running, after a while it starts to sputter and misfire then it shuts off and doesnt wanna start for awhile and im thinking it could be the knock sensor does anyone know whats wrong?

Were you able to test the coils to be sure that they are working right? I read somewhere that you should put computer heat sink grease(for the CPU) on the ICM where it touches the mounting plate. I'm not going to say that it will fix your problem, it just helps the ICM live longer. There are only a few other things that are a part of this system(the ECM and the crank sensor). Are the plug wires in good shape? Also you could try to put some Heet in your tank, just in case there is some water in there.

i had a similiar issue(not totally the same as yours) it was the O2 sensor playing with the idle.. id did make it go ruff.. and almost stall...

well i bought new coils and i had spare but brand new ICM and it fixed da problem but now when i leave it run it feels like da ignition starts to retard so bad n it feels like the knock sensor is bad but i dont know

yea then it shuts off and doesnt wana start and when i crank it theres no spark from the coils

I had a problem somewhat like yours. It would run and kinda chug and rev up and down and shut off. It would also throw a check engine light. It ended up being a vaccum line that goes into the MAP sensor. Now when I had problems with my car I also didn't have spark on some plugs. I also changed my crankshaft sensors.
