I have a 96 beretta and I have a couple of questions? Would a 3100 from 2000+ and up bolt to the 4t60e transmission? Has anyone with a 96 and up done the swap with the 3100 or 3400? I have been hearing problems with the intake manifold gasket leak on both engines with proper up keep.

The intake manifold gasket on the 3100 (VIN J) and 3400 (VIN E) was a common failure due to the original design of the gasket which was revised in 2003 if i remember right.  Strangely enough, my '99 3400 has the ORIGINAL intake gasket.
