ive been searching for months for a 91 harness. thats the only one that will direct bolt up, because its the only year the beretta has the old style firewall setup, and non-abs with cruise. better check the junk yards. 91 corsica will work also

If a 94 Cavy v6 ecm is anything like a 94 quad 4 ecm, then the eprom is different from the previous years. But you have the harness and ecm, so that shouldn't matter. I'm not sure if that's useful info of not? lol, oh well

For what it's worth, I'm running a 1994 Corsica wiring harness in my 1991 Beretta (non-ABS). I don't have the ABS computer installed and the harnesses connectors are hidden under my firewall covers since I don't need them. I didn't have to worry about cruise control wiring because my car wasn't equipped with it stock, but I'm sure you could lengthen wires if needed. I do plan on adding cruise to my 1991 eventually, probably next year now that it's running fine on the MPFI conversion.

As long as the same ECM is running the show from the donor car you should be alright - only independent thing is the MEMCAL/PROM, which provides specifics about the engine/transmission combo.

I neglected to mention that I also swapped the dash harness in my '91 to that of a '94...sometimes I forget all the work I've done to that car.

In your case, I'm still thinking you could use a 92-93 V6 engine harness in a 91, ignoring the different mounting location for the cruise control servo - just lengthen the wires if you need to. (The ABS is moot since your car isn't equipped for it - the engine doesn't need to 'see' ABS equipment to run.)

And if you end up having to settle for one from an automatic car, you'll just need to modify the wiring harness slightly for the neutral safety switch and backup lights.

I have a '91 factory service manual and Kurt has one for a '93 to possibly confirm whether this would work - Cack would also probably be able to chime in with a definite answer right off the top of his head though. (wiring harness hybrid's) Jon might also, but I think his forté is more in the 94+ district. (Apologies if I assume incorrectly  )
