anyone have a spring for the gas door hinge ? mine broke the other day, its been sloppy for a while but now the spring is broke and it flys open every time i stop or turn a corner lol. the hinge itself is still fine.

I may pull it off when i have time and see if i can re bend the end of the spring and make something work, if someone has one though it would save me messing around with it.

ok ill let you know, im going to look at it today and see if i can re bend it depending where it broke, but later on or if i cant make it do for now ill be getting a new one.

Just replace it. That is what broke on mine originally, so I bought one from Mike. Been fine since.

well i took it apart today, the hinge is actually broken in one spot i guess thats why its been flimsy for a while and the reason the spring clip broke.

I need a whole hinge. i stole the one off my 88 for now since its still parked for winter.
