well everyone know i'm starting a speed shop and this is my first product that i'm starting. i've had about 3 months of research and thanks to white92w26 for a donor car, I will be getting these header on the shelfs for my fellow beretta lovers. now they are not done yet as with every project. getting the car to my house during winter time is not the easiest thing to do and we both work during the week and it seems to snow or ice during the weekend we planed. but here is some info on the headers

flanges

1-5/8 going into a 2in collector. the front will y into the back piping and go 2-1/2. at this point at the Y there will be a flex pipe then either a cat or off road pipe. more options will be offered once we are closer to production and i think everyone for looking.

i have some drawings(not the best) of how there headers will be ran.

hope to have some progress by this weekend

i'm still having waiting on the guy to get back with me on the flanges price. i believe he quated me 20 per peice. but not sure.

I know its 80$ a piece to have it first made after that i thought he said 20.
Hopefully i'll have some pics up buy this weekend.
I've been on call all week at work and it kinda take time out of other stuff that i have going on.

I will tell ya i'm not impressed with the 3 into 1 collectors from s&s. it nothing like what they picture& the piping dont even slip into them.

but for the price of them i can modifie them to work.

Where did you get your collectors? I got some 3 (1 5/8's) to one (2.25"), and they worked good...

forced firbird where you get yours at?

i buaght them from s&s and i do not like them at all I actually was going to send them back. but its not worth it. I'm just going to buy ones that will work. the 3into1 where you slip it into. one pipe will fit but if you try it in another slot it wont be even close( the pipe is to big. the pitcure they have on there website is false they dont look like that. I'll post some pics of the kind i got and you can check the pics on there site.tomarrow.

I already broke my brand new pipe expander tonight and in the process broke my 3 month old vise. good thing they have warrenty. I'm not even sure how i broke the vise but ohwell take one step forward and 100 steps back i'll get back on them tomorrow

keith

if i have to buy diff collectors and the price goes up i'll be cutting it close on the price i want to sale them at. I'm want to keep them at 450 to 600 ceramic coated.
that better than s&s and i would like to blow there building up right now  but i'll get it worked out with them monday and get some money back

I got those parts at Stan's headers. They told me they might not even be able to make the collectors out of 2.25", but they were successful. I don't know what kind of fit you are looking for, but even on them, the three pipes held together tight didn't slip down into it.

The pipe expander you mentioned, is it one of the kind that have ~6 small cast irn pcs that slide over a tpaered nut? I have had several of them, and they always break on me. I stopped buying the $30 ones from the parts stores and getting them for $10 at Harbor Freight. They suck to say the least, I ususally just end up but-welding the pipes.
