I wonder if that's someone that was on the forum at one time.. I'm pretty sure the trunk lid carpet was a group buy a long time ago. Nice car!

That trunk lid carpet (I bought mine from the same guy) and the old school BNet sticker on the 1/4 window. Definitely an older member's car but I can't place their name to save my life.

IF this is the car I think it is...a few years ago it had like 80k on it, it was mechanic owned (at that time) and had been completely restored (inside and out had all been repainted). It used to looked like it had just came off of the showroom floor (I know who used to own it).

Sent from my iPhone.

That is Chris Norton's old car. It has a $3500 paint job about 11 years ago. I have seen this car in person...very nice. It has a lot of OEM replacement parts.
I am surprised Syluss doesn't recognize this as he bought the Transgenic stuff from what was Chris and Aaron's comapany. And all being from Colorado.

I never once met Chris. And he was never involved with the Tranzgenic deal. Although I do remember this car now that it has been brought up.

Thats the old Beretta.net stickers i remember. Would love to get my hands on 4 of them. I still can't believe Chris sold it, and now this guy is selling it. But for six grand he's not trying very hard to sell it.

Thats too bad. Aaron and Chris and the rest of the Colorado crew did many engine and transmission swaps and builds on cars. They ended up branding themselves with "Tranzgenic". They had a website and some clients and competed for jobs from me. The intake setups(which i have purchased from them) was only 1 part of the business.

Interesting, it doesn't have one of the regular Transgenics on it. Just an elbow with a filter.

Everything done to this GTU was top of the line. Although it did not make to many Berettafests often these nice cars are forgotten.

Most of them sold their cars and moved on.

That is my old car. It only has about 3,000 miles since I sold it. Looked back at my pics and found it had around 167,000 when I sold it. The engine is not a 2.8 just used my 2.8 plenum on it. Has a 3.1 with a crane compucam 2030. Fully ported upper/lower intake & heads. I put the motor in around 142K. I thought I had our transgenic intake on it but I cant remember.. The paint job was complete strip to bare metal. All panels and glass removed. New GTU body kit & brackets installed. I replaced the headliner, carpet, console, all weatherstrips for the doors and trunk all GM parts. Minus the carpet and headliner. I sold it because I was out of space and had no where to keep it. The car was at Berettafest 98,99,00,02,03 & 04.

I take my comment back, 6 Berettafest's is not too shabby. I missed going to 98 99

Folks, this car is a legend. The paint work done was top quality.

This car was indeed badass - parked next to it at the picnic at BFest'04 ;)

Here are some pictures from that year:

The sound and look of this car made me want a 5-speed GTU pretty damn bad. (In fact, found my black 5-speed not long after this. ;)) It never got to be as nice as this one though.

BFest '04? Denver correct? I believe I see the owner of Fast forward Performance's Z34 sitting there.
