Dead or alive, parts car or not, as long as it has a title I want to buy one. I don't mind if it's wrecked as long as it's fixable such as the front clip is smashed to the point where it needs a new front structure that's fine I'm a body man and have access to a puller. However if the under is rotted out I don't want it, if it needs a frame rail in the rear under trunk that's fine cause I put one on my z26 it ain't hard. If some one has one in nice shape near me let me know if not close I'll have to find a trailer hitch to mount to my firebird

if I find one I make it a nice Saturday night cruise in car, I'm going to restore it like it once was and if I can mount it to a rotisserie and sandblast the underneath and paint it, restore the interior to like new, and paint it to a mirror finish.

I don't know if the had quasars in 1991 bit that's the year I most want because that's the year I was born

quasar blue was offered in 92-93 only. as far as quad 4 gtz's go, good luck, why the hell would you buy a smashed one but not a rusty one, you'll put just as much work into it replacing an entire front clip properly as you would putting new rockers in or a new trunk floor pan, or even new spring perche's, i know you cant get it new, but you can use any 88-93 car for parts. i have a quad4 z26 that was my parts car i'll sell to you, its brm, one of like 200, and with its options probably even fewer, it needs about everything, engine, trans,(you buy it i'll give you the axles), shift cables, shifter, seats, door panels(dash has a buble if you care), but the trunk pan is solid, and the door jams show a little sign of rust, the wiring harness ect is all there and unhacked, the car has eibachs and new shocks and struts on it with american racing wheels. its also more rare then a quad gtz.

Well living in northwest Pa and being a bodyman for 6 years and dealing with rust all the time I would take on replacing a whole front clip roof rear clip any day over rust repair cause I'm good with pounding and pulling metal back to it's original shape, I don't like haveing eatin metal and having to replace the old metal with new and then wording about it rusting in 5 years when I fix something I strive to make it last 20+ years, and I don't know I've wanted a quad z26 but it's obd1.5 that's what I don't like about them, how much do you want for it cause the motor is no problem for me a guy near me has a low ratio 92 getrag pulled from a GTZ a long time ago at 67,000 miles that would feel right at home with a stroker 2.3 or 2.6 if I bore it let me know how much you want for it Chris thanks I still love the rare factor to them though

Honestly you are almost better off taking a base model and building it and painting it.. It's THAT hard (in my opinion) to find a nice GTZ that's quasar and MINT.. Hell, the one in my picture here took me 9 years to find.. LOL

yeah, i'll agree with tvc, its hard to find, find a 92 v6 gt and you got a solid platform to start with and find a gtz parts car. you should be able to use the 92 subframes and motor/tranny mounts, shift cables are the same. then swap harness and computers from the gtz, drop in your quad, and go vroom vroom.. better yet, find an indy and put q4 subframes on. or find a 92 like i said and kit it. hells yeah.
