Re: Beretta Z28
I'll have to checkout Viking - I was looking into Ridtech's setup - but that gets expensive super quick.
Jon - keep on posting updates - car is looking awesome so far!

Thanks. The Viking stuff seems really quality. Lots of shock dampening adj....and ride height adj built into the shock body with different size springs as well. I believe UMI runs a 4th gen camaro in optimia street car challenge with Vikings and either won ....or was very competitive.

Yeah - in Optima there is with a ZR1 that has the Viking setup on his C6 - and I think he got the expensive electronic one that is programmable.

Felt great to get back to some stuff I had put too far on the back burner. Beretta progress!!!! Viking coilovers. Extended Spohn upper and lower tubular arms and extended tierods, shortened knuckles, flaming river power steering rack, power stop disc brakes
Re: Beretta Z28
Some more trimming and cutting in the inner fender/wheel well= more steering angle
I'd say this kit has some angle !!!!

Re: Beretta Z28
Made some progress on casting the rear bumper. Still need two more layers but ran out of laminating resin and cloth. Back to the store
Re: Beretta Z28
Finally got around to installing the new X rear firewall panels made out of thicker aluminum. Also installed rivnuts forball the fasteners on the rear firewall and door panels
Re: Beretta Z28
Wow! Great progress, that is an impressive steering-angle, I am personally always laughing at GM's biggest failing in that department with the phrase 'turns like a Chevy' as I make a multi-point turn... You won't be able to say that about your car!
Those aluminum panels look oh so clean in there... I can't believe how nice those door panels look.
Still watching, after all this time, and not disappointed at all. Keep it going!

Re: Beretta Z28
A big step in getting the beretta on the road !!!!!!
We wired in the manual transmission and pedal assembly. And was able to restore power to the ECU and fuel pump. After 6 years I heard the beretta run again. This time with a built LT1 V8. The Z28 beretta lives !!!!

Re: Beretta Z28
Was able to rewire and switch out some bulbs and pigtails and get headlights and brights running lights and turn signals to work properly on the beretta. All the lights are functioning as should again
Re: Beretta Z28
thanks to PCMforless.com for the fast turn around on this tune for the Z28 beretta. Shes gonna be running like a champ now!!!!
Re: Beretta Z28
All the shut offs and run off flanges finished ...Z28 Beretta hood just about ready to lay up. Gotta hit up RussSimpson and re up on my resin and cloth and were ready to make a mold
