Re: Budget LS swap 6spd RWD Z26 project.
This might be the best handling Beretta on earth now.😎 I made some 82-92 Camaro struts fit...the bolt spacing and length is the same as Beretta. I did it with basically stock KYBs to see if it all would work, so I could buy double adjustable Viking struts for a Camaro. It works so damn good I'm gonn...

Re: Budget LS swap 6spd RWD Z26 project.
Grabbed another Beretta! Chris is moving, so he made me a deal I couldn't refuse. So now I'm once again the (not so) proud owner of a Quad4/5spd GTZ. This one is a 92-93 and it's a little crusty...prob best used for parts. The q4 runs on starter fluid and everything is intact with the 5spd, etc. The...

The 282s are pretty good, lots of guys use them in v8 Fieros.

Re: Budget LS swap 6spd RWD Z26 project.
Lots of updates here I'm way behind. But I redid the gas tank and now it's mint. I redesigned my strut mounrs and fitted 3rd gen Camaro struts, made my oen FE7 brackets and Ram/Camaro end links for my 33mm Blazer sway bar and it is AWESOME. Maybe the best handling Beretta on earth, honestly. Took so...

Re: 92 GT Interior restoration
I don't recall rubber gaskets on those sunroof tabs, but I have found that "craft foam" stuff for kiddo projects makes a pretty good DIY gasket. It's cheap and easy to work with too. The biggest thing to keep your sunroof from leaking is the drains. Clear all of the drain hoses and it shou...

The ol' "Mr. Mike" mount with the zipties and strut bar. haha
Now just see if you can fab something up. Might even be able to use the 4t60 mount holes like I did.

Boy, this is a nice, easy, cheap solution...but they're only single adjustable!Solid plan B though, if my Viking idea doesn't work.

Re: Camaro paint job...after almost 10 years
Found some wheels I really loved at a reasonable price. Rotary forged Kansei KNP 5-spokes in 18x9 and 18x10.5. I pulled the trigger to beat the tariffs, but they don't fit! https://youtu.be/Z6Y_9np78-M?si=nrEpcGq1Sz91Mrbt https://i.imgur.com/8IbtFzz.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/tpeVyBk.jpeg I went over ...

Re: The $500 beater Blazer Z69 offroader
Decided to harvest the 4.3/5spd/tcase from the street Blazer for the red ZR2. The condition of the ZR2s engine and tcase is unknown and I know mine are good. Also figured it was good practice to split the body properly first on the one that won't be a daily driver. The gambler I just cut everything ...

Re: The $500 beater Blazer Z69 offroader
Blazer drama: I retired the shitty one because it would only crank over about once every 20-30 key cycles and I didn't want to spend money on a starter for it when it was already on death row. After tearing it apart I noticed the NSS switch on the clutch pedal was really nasty (prob from driving thr...

Re: what did you do to your ride today?
I've had a kind of rough few months...mostly blazer problems. I'll make a post. But I'm finally making some forward progress on the Camaro, albeit slow with all the other things I have to do. Right now I'm somewhat paralyzed trying to make a wheel decision. Yes it's many months away from driving, bu...

Re: Budget LS swap 6spd RWD Z26 project.
It's out of storage and roaming the streets again. Kiddo is happy to be back in the "race car" and so am I. Still no defroster and the tires are easily overpowered in the cold morning, but the afternoons have been really nice and the winter beater Blazer just crap the bed, so....
