Got some new Wheels... I'm Special....ized
Picking up some new wheels to replace Amy's 10yr old Specialized Allez that I've been using. She got a new Giant Bike for her wedding present and she figured it was time I got a new one. We are also riding in the MS150 in RI this year. I'll get some info up about that later which also includes info on how to donate to our entries if you wish. Eric, you should like this... it's all blacked out...
The smoother, faster Roubaix—named after the grueling Paris-Roubaix race it has won four times—is a high-performance, endurance-focused bike that's highly stable and efficient. The Sport C2 features Shimano 105 compact gearing and our new DT-Axis 1.0 wheels for lower weight and higher performance.
•FACT 8r carbon, FACT IS constructed frame with Endurance Road geometry, Zertz and tapered head tube for the perfect blend of stiffness, compliance and light weight
•Specialized FACT full carbon monocoque fork with Zertz inserts is stiff, responsive, and smooth
•Adjustable four-position oversized alloy stem with 31.8mm bar clamp for strength and versatile positioning
•Smooth, precise Shimano 105 STI shifters are renowned for their race-ready performance and exceptional value
•Shallow drop alloy handlebar for easy access to levers and more comfortable hand positions; wrapped with non-slip Specialized Roubaix tape for vibration-damping performance
•Minimalist, high-performance Body Geometry Toupe RBX Sport saddle with steel rails, flat profile, and generous padding for long rides and explosive efforts

first thing i would do is ditch the round racing handle bars at the end and let it be a strait bar, i used to have a yellow spezialized and it got stolen, then i bought a khs and that too got stolen but my nieghbor spotted it, its now spray painted black with spray painted purple disc brakes, a gold seat, and some other odd crap done to it, i havnt had an intrest in touching it since it was molested. =(

Ditch the round bars... Um not quite. I'll be attending a 75mile a day race with this bike a straight bar will get very annoying. And I'd also have to change out the 105 hardware and brake handles... I don't think so not on the 2,100 bike.

Sweet ride, makes me want to get off my lazy ass and start riding again.
I think my taint likes the 2+ year break I've taken though.
