WANTED: Front Lip Brace

I have 4 ready to go. Once I get more flat stock will make up some more.









This last one is the inner structure as it appears on most of our cars. All bent and warped. I HIGHLY recommend that you attempt to straighten it some, by using a hot air gun, get the plastic hot enough to straighten it and do so. That is what I did to mine before installation. But this as you can see with the highlights, is highly warped. So much in fact, that you WILL have a difficult time fitting the brace unless you try to straighten it some first. Then once its fitted, you can rivet it (or whatever) in place. This may push the bumper cover down slightly where it goes over the brace, but its not a big issue nor noticeable unless you plant your face in the opening and look for it.



I have to straighten this one, then I will be able to install a brace on it.

No, you can use just one in the center rib. But if someone wanted to, they could install up to 3, as there are 3 ribs there I guess. Biggest problem anyone would have is warped or busted inner supports. I have just one installed on mine, works fine.

Ah I see why you thought that. The pic above shows me putting the support on the outer rib. But that was because that one wasn't as warped as the center one and it fit better. lol But no, it would just be used on the center one.
